The game
Where can I get the game?
Is the game free?
Yes. Rewarded ads are watched only when you choose to; a one-time “Remove Ads” purchase removes the ads between scenes. Diamond packs and the starter pack are optional.
What are diamonds for?
To finish a job right away, skip time, get money, refresh the job board, get out of jail at once and call in a VIP client. Every one of these can also be done without diamonds: by watching an ad, paying bail or waiting. Diamonds are also earned from achievements and daily rewards.
Which languages does the game speak?
Turkish, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Change it in the game’s Settings.
Can I play on the web?
Yes, as a demo. On the Play on the web page you can play from the bedroom to the office with nothing to install. The save stays in that browser only; the tower and the tech campus are in the app.
Saves and devices
Where is my progress saved?
On your phone. If iCloud is on, the game also writes a copy of your save to your own iCloud account every so often. Delete and reinstall the game, or move to a new iPhone, and you carry on where you left off.
I moved to a new phone and my save is missing.
Make sure the new phone is signed in to iCloud with the same Apple Account, then open the game. It reads the iCloud save at launch; if the iCloud save is further along than the one on the phone, it asks you which one to keep playing.
Do I need Game Center?
No. Game Center is only for achievements and leaderboards; you don’t need it to play. If you’re already signed in on your phone, the game recognises you; if not, tap Game Center in the game’s Settings to sign in.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
In the game: Settings → Notifications. They tell you when the cash box is full, when your daily reward is ready and when it’s happy hour, and never between 22:00 and 09:00. If you turned them off in iOS: iPhone Settings → Code Empire → Notifications.
Purchases and ads
I bought “Remove Ads” but I still see ads.
While signed in with the same Apple Account, open Settings → Restore purchases in the game (it’s also at the bottom of the Shop). Ads you choose to watch for a reward stay in the game and are always optional.
My starter pack is missing on my new phone.
The starter pack’s golden computer is permanent: tap Restore purchases on the new phone and it comes back. Your diamonds move with your save through iCloud.
I want a refund.
Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I change my ad privacy choices?
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland: Settings → Privacy settings in the game. Everywhere: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. More in the Privacy policy.
